Isle of Skye Audio Productions offers the finest in location recording, concert recording, CD production, and audio services of all types. Our goal is to create a natural and realistic capture of musical events, both live and produced at your location. We specialize in acoustic music of all types, including Orchestral, Choral, Opera, Vocal, Jazz, Big Band, and Celtic. No project is too big or small, from full scale Symphonies to small Jazz trios. Audio for Television and Video productions (including surround sound) of all types is also available. We can obtain music rights for your project, help with the hiring of musicians, and provide full duplication services. Format conversion of older projects from analog cassette/DAT, or current projects from CD/DVD, to .mp3, .wma, or CD is also available.
We now offer custom soundtracks for
fireworks displays. This includes both choreographed and traditional programs. As a longtime member of
Pyrotechnics Guild International, we can tailor a soundtrack to fit any occasion, venue, and P.A. system. Musical selections can be provided by you, or we can suggest appropriately themed music to fit your needs. We will work closely with you to enable a breathtaking combination of sight and sound!
There is an offering of excerpts of our live concert and CD recordings in our
Media Showcase. They are all high quality 192kbps .mp3 format and can be heard on the page using the available Adobe Flash Player. There are multiple pages of music excerpts for most genres.
As the chief recording engineer and producer for Isle of Skye, I have an extensive performance background in Classical music and Opera. I am a graduate of the
Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and was a longtime performer in the Chicago area. I am an avid audiophile, and design and build much of my own audio and recording equipment. These skills and abilities allow me to bring a unique approach to recording and production.
